SA Canopy was established in 1986 and developed from a family business based in Port Elizabeth into one of the largest canopy companies in South Africa, with a national footprint of franchise fitment centres. The companys strong presence in the automobile accessory marketplace meant that in October 2007 SA Canopy was purchased by Autovest.
