Born in Scotland and after studying there for his Veterinarian degree, Dr Lawson Cairns set his heart at enjoying his career in South Africa.Choosing Hillcrest as his base, he opened Hillcrest Veterinary Hospital in 1974, building a sound clientele in the Outer West,it wasn't long before an opportunity arose whereby a larger premises became available on the present site at the Cube House.
